Today Facebook IPO team will be having breakfast with Boston base fund managers but they are likely to be in for a disappointment right at the start with a no show of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Word on the street is that the Facebook executives will be splitting up into teams to blitz the remaining 8 days of the roadshow after the entire executive team spent entire day in New York in 6 large investor meetings yesterday.
The Boston fund managers will be addressed by Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg and CFO David Ebersman during the breakfast meeting at the Four Seasons hotel at the conclusion of the meeting the dual team will head to Baltimore, Maryland.
The question is what is the next stop or stops for the founder & CEO Mark Zuckerberg and vice president Chris Cox. Will they be taking on another set of meetings not on schedule or will they be regrouping after exhausting kick off to the roadshow yesterday.
Previous iterations of the schedule indicated group presentations were set to occur yesterday in NYC, Today in Boston and then again Friday in Palo Alto.
